Sauce Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil Extra virgin is preferred.
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced Adjust according to your taste.
  • 400 grams Canned tomatoes, crushed You can use fresh tomatoes as well.
  • 1 teaspoon Dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • Salt to taste Salt
  • Pepper to taste Black pepper
Optional Toppings
  • 100 grams Grated Parmesan cheese For serving.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
Making the Sauce
  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, dried basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
Combining
  1. Drain the pasta and add it to the skillet with the sauce.
  2. Toss everything together until the pasta is well-coated in the sauce.
